Microsoft Azure · ERP data migration

Out of the legacy system. Into Business Central 365.

One API service. Any data source. A clean data foundation in Business Central.

Your company history belongs in the new ERP — not in an archive. We extract it where it lives today and bring it into Business Central 365 in a structured way. We build you a dedicated Azure API service that reads your existing database, transforms it cleanly and migrates it automatically into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central — whether that is a classic Pervasive database, Microsoft SQL Server or another system. Cloud-native, secure and repeatable as often as you need.

Your data source

Pervasive database, MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle, ODBC or files. 100 % of your data is migrated — without copy & paste.

Azure API service

Cloud-native Azure service: extraction, mapping, cleansing & validation run automatically.

Business Central 365

Master & transactional data cleanly in the new ERP. Development & support from Germany.

Capabilities

Everything a serious data migration needs.

Data sources

Field-level mapping

Every legacy field maps to a Business Central field — including remapping number series, units and tax rates.

Fully automated ETL

Extract, transform, cleanse and load: a repeatable Azure job replaces months of manual work.

Migrated objects

Azure & quality

Delta & go-live sync

The final run transfers only changes, so cutover downtime stays as short as possible.

Why Azure

Not a migration adventure. A controlled process.

Built for you

A service we build for your system.

No black-box off the shelf: we develop the migration service to fit your source and your Business Central setup. You get a dedicated Azure API service you keep and can reuse for later delta loads.

Legacy systems too

Even where standard tools give up.

Older ERP systems often still run on classic Pervasive databases or other unusual stores. We extract those sources in a structured, complete way — without you having to touch the live legacy system.

Security by design

Security is built in, not bolted on.

Credentials live in Azure Key Vault, connections are encrypted, authentication runs via Entra ID, and hosting is in the EU. Every run is logged — enterprise-grade security for mid-market companies.

Before / after

Before: manual work. After: automation.

Manual migration

Migration via Azure

In five steps

How your migration works.

1. Analysis & data intake

We review your legacy database, fields and volumes and agree the migration scope together.

2. Set up Azure service

We set up the dedicated API service, Azure SQL staging and a secure connection to your source.

3. Mapping & transformation

Every field maps to a Business Central field; number series, units and keys are remapped.

4. Test migration & reconciliation

Dry runs produce a validation report. We fix until balances, stock and documents match 100%.

5. Go-live with delta sync

The final run transfers only changes — so you switch to Business Central without long downtime.

Questions & answers

Frequently asked questions about ERP migration

Practically any relational database: classic Pervasive/Btrieve, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB, Oracle and PostgreSQL. Plus ODBC sources, flat files (CSV, XML, JSON) and REST/SOAP APIs. We also extract older, poorly documented systems in a structured way.

A cloud service we build for your project on Microsoft Azure (Azure Functions + Azure SQL). It connects securely to your legacy database, extracts data, transforms it to Business Central rules and loads it via the official Business Central API. The full process is repeatable and logged.

Master and transactional data: customers, vendors, items, BOMs, prices, customer groups, open items and balances, chart of accounts and dimensions, orders, documents, inventory, lots and serial numbers. Exact scope is agreed in the migration concept.

Building the migration service takes a few weeks depending on complexity. Because we test as often as needed and only transfer changes (delta) at go-live, the actual cutover is usually done over a weekend. Day-to-day operations barely stop.

Yes. Connections are encrypted, credentials sit in Azure Key Vault, authentication uses Entra ID, and hosting is in the EU (Azure West Europe). Every migration run is logged in an audit-ready way.

That is what the test migration is for: you get a reconciliation report and can check balances, stock and documents in a Business Central sandbox as often as you like before any record goes live.
