Labels and batch printing directly on the sales order – without middleware, with immediate feedback from GLS.
Shipping information goes to GLS without middleware – and you get immediate feedback, for example on incorrect address data. You print labels per sales order or in batches; with Universal Print you drive your preferred label printer.
Setup runs via “GLS label configuration” (API, sender, print options) including a connection test. Details are in the GLS Connector documentation.
Process the sales order as usual.
Create parcel, generate label, send to GLS.
Shipping label and feedback from the carrier.
The solutioo GLS Connector connects the GLS business customer portal to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. You need a GLS Germany business customer account – from about 250 parcels per year via the “Become a business customer” form on gls-pakete.de.
The app is suitable for the German market; international shipping from Germany is currently not possible.
Install the GLS Connector from Microsoft AppSource in Business Central.
In Extension Management enable “Allow HttpClient requests”.
Under “GLS label configuration” enter API, sender and print options, then test the connection.
Create a parcel on the sales order and print shipping labels individually or in batches.
The app is offered in German and English but is only suitable for the German market. International shipping from Germany is currently not possible – GLS offers country-specific services.
