The challenge at item Bayern: every customer has individual prices composed from several sources – customer-specific price lists with quantity tiers, customer price groups, and item discount groups combined with customer discount groups.
For sales that meant: to quote the correct end price on the phone, staff had to manually check multiple price lists, reconcile discount groups and calculate the price themselves. That cost time, was error-prone and created uncertainty in price communication.
