Shipping and return labels via the Hermes Shipping Interface are created on the sales order, on the Hermes Versand tab.

The Solutioo Hermes API Connector talks to the Hermes Shipping Interface (HSI) directly from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. You stay on the sales order: on the Hermes Versand tab you maintain the parcel, services and return, and create the label there.
Under Hermes Einrichtung you choose the environment (integration or production) and the customer segment (Key Account or Selfservice) and enter the user name and password. Test connection checks access before you ship in production. In the role center, Hermes Versand holds shipments, setup and the API log.
Process the sales order as usual.

Install the app in Business Central Cloud (version 28 or newer).
Under “Hermes Einrichtung” enter the environment, customer segment, user name and password.
Check the connection to the Hermes Shipping Interface. Optionally create demo data.
On the sales order open the Hermes Versand tab and run “Hermes Label erzeugen”.
On the sales order, Hermes Versand tab, via the action “Hermes Label erzeugen”. The shipment ID and the time of the last label are stored on the order.
Key-account services KA01 to KA25: standard shipping, notification (email, SMS or both), returns, international shipping, customs and ZAZ, preferred PaketShop, cash on delivery, bulky goods, limited quantity, NextDay, preferred day, identity check and the virtual goods-issue event. Selfservice works with parcel class and volume.
Key Account: weight is required, volume is recommended. Selfservice: parcel class (XS to XL) and volume are required. You set the segment in Hermes Einrichtung, together with the user name and password. Selfservice (about 300 to 100,000 shipments a year) registers with Hermes at business.myhermes.de. Key Account (from 100,000 shipments a year) receives the credentials from Hermes.
PDF, ZPL at 203 dpi and ZPL at 300 dpi. You set the default format in Hermes Einrichtung.
Yes. “Hermes Retourenlabel” creates a return label, “Hermes Retourenabholung” also sets a pickup date. Both go to the Hermes interface for return labels.
In Hermes Einrichtung choose the Integration environment and test the connection. Optionally create demo data: customers HERMESDEMO, item HERMESITEM and orders HERMES-O-01 to HERMES-O-25 for scenarios KA01 to KA25. For the live company switch the environment to Production.
